Edenred CZ offers specific-purpose payment solutions for food (such as meal benefits /vouchers), incentives (such as gift cards, employee engagement platforms) and corporate payments (such as virtual cards). The meal vouchers and other benefits can be find by the employees on one card - Edenred card.
True to the Group’s purpose, Enrich connections. For good., these solutions enhance user’s well-being and purchasing economic power. They improve companies’ attractiveness and efficiency, and vitalize the employment market and the local economy. They also foster access to healthier food, more environmentally friendly products.
Edenred CZ is actively supporting the corporate social responsibility of all companies in CZ. This is caused by the complexity of Edenred´s business - ecosystem of restaurants, leisure benefits (sports centres, wellnes etc.) connecting with employers and employees. The CSR program is supporting people, planet and progress.
CSR commitments
Our company has been engaged in CSR activities for a long time and intensively. Thanks to our products and services, employers can provide their employees with benefits with the main focus on catering - meal vouchers or meal voucher cards and leisure benefit cards or vouchers, thanks to which companies take care and diversify the lives of their employees. Edenred's CSR strategy targets activities to reach all target groups in its business.
Our strategy for social sustainability is based on supporting the three pillars of People, Planet and Progress, and is globally defined by the Edenred Group's headquarters in France. At present, ambitious goals are set with a long-term horizon of 2030. To achieve them, each country has its own action plan, responding to local conditions and the needs of customers and employees. As part of this strategy, control mechanisms are also set up to verify the fulfillment of the action plan every year.
The Jury's opinion
The Jury really appreciated Edenred's commitment to the restaurant community during the pandemic. They developed initiatives to encourage people to come back to restaurants, and to consume in a more healthy and responsible way.

We are bringing digitalisation and automation to energy management and use. Our goal is to ensure efficiency and sustainability. We combine the most advanced energy technologies, software and services. These solutions are the foundation for homes, commercial buildings, data centers, infrastructure and industry. We make processes and energy safe and reliable, so they are efficient, sustainable, open and connected.
CSR commitments
Sustainability is a cornerstone of our strategy, alongside digitalisation and greater use of electricity - helping our customers to use and manage energy better and thereby reduce their carbon footprint. This strategy is global and we are also pursuing it in the Czech Republic by regularly publishing specific projects where we have succeeded in reducing energy consumption or carbon footprint. For example, the reconstruction of the Innovation Centre Svatopetrská building in Brno, where we achieved 80% energy savings compared to the original state, innovative solutions can also be seen in real operation at our production plant in Písek. In terms of our internal commitments, we plan to reduce CO2 emissions by 2025 as part of the Climate Positive World initiative, where 80% of our revenues must be directly linked to improving sustainability - green revenues. We will save a minimum of 800 million tonnes of CO2 through projects delivered to our customers, we will promote and require CO2 savings from our suppliers by 50% for the top 1000 suppliers, we will be resource efficient - 50% of our inputs must meet green material criteria and 100% of our packaging will be free of single-use plastics. We also want to provide access to green energy for 50 million people, mainly in the developing world, who today have no access to electricity.
The Jury's opinion
The Jury really appreciated Schneider Electric CSR strategy, which was not only focused on carbon reduction but was implemented globally in all corners of the company. Their strategy is global measurable, has concrete impacts and is not limited to their organization. They are also committed to educating their customers, partners and stakeholders.
Société Générale Equipment Finance (SGEF)
Activity
Société Générale Equipment Finance (SGEF) is a leading financial company in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, providing finance lease, operating lease and loans, including subsidy-based aid, to almost 5 000 clients. SGEF finances investments in industrial equipment, technology, freight and passenger vehicles, healthcare and green energy. SGEF reported new business totalling EUR 573 million (CZK 14,9 billion) in 2021. Volume of the sustainable financing reached EUR 65,4 thousand in 2021, which is 12 % share of the totall portfolio.

CSR commitments
Sustainable future is the foundation of our corporate social responsibility. During the past year, we have invested 1,7 billion crowns into green projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which translates into 12% of our portfolio. Compared to 2020, this is an increase of more than 100%. Our key investment areas are public transport, recycling and waste management, public sector services and healthcare. Examples of financed sustainable assets: renewable energy sources, energy saving lighting, charging stations for electric cars, railway wagons for the transport of goods, buses and locomotives for public transport, lines for the processing of sorted waste, recycling line for the processing of construction waste, automatic growing line for forest regeneration
The highest in our history was also our support of non-profit organizations, which reached half a million crowns in 2021. Supported foundations: KB Jistota, Dobrý anděl, Dejme šanci dětem, Nadace Českého rozhlasu. Non-financial help: blood donation, e-bikes in the company fleet instead of cars, significant annual paper savings.

The jury really appreciated the many services offered by SGEF and the company's CSR investments in many sectors. They also praised its ambition to increase sustainable investments.
