Evolution of the activity during the pandemic
Amaris' activities in the Czech Republic were mainly focused on the aeronautical sector, we were helping key players in the aviation and airport world. When the Covid crisis arrived in 2020, our company lost more than half of its staff and revenues, mainly due to the closure of projects entrusted to us.
We had to redefine our added value in this new ecosystem, and turn to consulting for the digital industries, with a whole transformation of our recruitment, marketing and financial strategy. We had to relearn how to work with new consultants and experts, and build trust with new clients.
The Jury's opinion
The Jury really appreciated the resilience of Amaris. The pandemic was a crash test for the company, and from this challenge, they came out with a different mentality, developed new sectors and expertises in the Czech Republic. As the Amaris Director said "we are no longer a start-up or an average company, we are a digital company, with a real ambition of success in Central Europe, and a real desire to accompany our customers on the challenges that we have just taken up internally.".
BlueLink International CZ
Activity
BlueLink is providing high level customer relationship services. The main activity is to manage the customers' services on behalf of various brand in different type of business. In native language, 24/7, any channel (call, email, chat, Social media). Other activities are in consulting and educational areas; helping clients to develop their activities, delight their customers or train better their teams.
Our focus is on high level and luxury services: thus we work for the best airlines and luxury brands in the world.
Evolution of the activity during the pandemic
As we are part of Air France group with 60% of our activities in airline business, the pandemic hit us strongly. But while airlines were not able to fly, we were receiving even more activities than before (customers had to cancel or change their flight tickets, requesting vouchers or reimbursement, in need to be reassured with the evolving rules and situation).
Before pandemic we had few customers out of airline industry and it was clear we needed more of them. So we developed our luxury services and we gain several new clients in this line of business. Our model was flexible before the pandemic (our centers around the world are inter-connected and we can switch from one to another instantly), it helped us to go through the difficult pandemic time and we kept and reinforced this model.
The main change the pandemic brought: new clients, more luxury clients, more flexibility and reactivity needed as the activity is even more hectic than before (activity can raise by 1000% from one day to another).
The Jury's opinion
The Jury really appreciated the solidarity that was established at BlueLink during the pandemic. In order to keep jobs, employees agreed to lower their salaries, they acted in a very responsible way for the business, for the colleagues, for the families. In addition, the Prague Center became the main driver and the main reference for the BlueLink Group: they developed their activities and expanded into new business areas in the Czech Republic.
