ABI Profils has 35 years of experience and innovation in the field of plastic extrusion and coextrusion of tubes and technical profiles. Some key figures: 45 employees and 7.8 million in sales. Our customer sectors: construction, fire safety, packaging, automotive, POP & merchandising, DIY, sports & leisure and food.
Export strategy in the Czech Republic
Business development of the company in the Czech market since 2017 :
- long-term export strategy, significant initial investments: translation and localization of all materials in Czech, PPC campaigns in Czech, annual participation in the MSV trade show (work on the ABI brand with local customers), training of the FTCC consultant (technical, commercial), internal priority for export files
- use of the "time-sharing sales service" of the CCFT, flexible formula: from 2 days / month to 6 days of work per month
- Czech Republic chosen as a "pilot country" to test and validate the functioning of the export strategy
- from 0 EUR turnover in 2017 to 226 k€ in 2021
- Czech Republic has become ABI's first export market (30% of sales made in export)
We now have 10 active customers, including major accounts (Viscofan, FIA Proteam, SSI Technologies, Schott, JUTA...), in the following fields: automotive, DIY, food, packaging, glass.

Export strategy in the Czech Republic
By being close to our customer and offering support in terms of

We now have a portfolio of nearly 2000 customers, including 350 in Slovakia, in all type of industries. Such as electric and electronic industry, machine building, furniture supplies and transportation.

Export strategy in the Czech Republic
We have started the first business in Czech Republic 3 years ago but we only have to create the subsidiary in the biegning of 2021.
We want to deepen our presence in the automotive industry in Central Europe. Indeed, after having installed at many customers around the world, we want to consolidate the relationships with automotive manufacturers and suppliers. We obviously remain open to other opportunities and we continue to work transversally with the head office and the other subsidiaries.
